hi just came across your travels and writing which is very interesting i have done overland to india (my homeland) from london twice using public transport i am planning another one this autum for charity building a school in manali in himalayan footsetps using some of your routes and train but will traverse through uzbekistan, kyrgystan and china over the irkestem pass then kashgar over the karakoram highway to pakistan your notes about russian timings were eye opener what is the cheapest and reliable way to get visas for russian and the cis countries? regards have you finished your travels 10 April 2007 - London, UK Webmaster comments   Replied by email - thanks for the comments
